Well, of course, my favorite is my iPhone, which I don’t think I can ever live without. I’m so dependent on it because it [serves] as my organizer. It’s like having your own portable executive secretary. So, my schedules, my things-to-do, of course, the contacts – everything’s there.
Next would be, my MacBook Pro, which I’ve been using for almost three years. It works hand-in-hand with my iPhone, and it’s very easy because they [use] the same system. It’s very easy to synchronize.
At home, I use an iMac (24-inch) for my family photos, for my music. For everything, really.
So you’re a big Apple fan?
Yes, I am. Because every since I tried it – [around] six years ago – I really liked it. They’re very user-friendly. So, yes, I would say I’m a big fan of just about anything Apple made.

Well, I recently purchased Night Vision [goggles] from Bushnell, but I thought the police would need it more, so I donated it to the San Juan S.W.A.T. team.
Are there any gadgets you regretted buying?
I had a mini-DVD player with a small screen, which I probably used only thrice. But I never used it again. And it was expensive! It was about Php 40,000 at that time. I really regretted buying it because I never got to make full use it. It was of good quality, but I didn’t get to travel that much. And, at home, it’s better to watch on a bigger screen and with a better sound system.
What gadgets are currently on your wish list?
I’m trying to save for a MacBook Air.
Do you have any suggestions for other Gadgeteers out there?
I used to be impulsive buyer. But in the latter years, I became more practical. When I was a Nokia user, I had to upgrade and upgrade every time I see a new model. But with my iPhone, I’ve saved a lot because I’m satisfied with its performance. Before, when I saw something new, I would buy it right away. But now I’m thankful that there are gadget magazines, which I peruse to and offer suggestions. I’d say I’m a practical gadget person now.
So to all the gadget enthusiasts out there, don’t buy on impulse. Try to read all the online fora and read Gadgets Magazine to make sure that you get your money’s worth, because you might buy something that you don’t really need.
